FAQ

All current TBProAudio VST2/VST3/AU plugins are Apple silicon native (M1/M2).

You can find details on the respective product page (system requirements).

Sometimes AU cache of Logic needs to be cleared. This could be done with a reboot of the PC.

  1. Close Logic Pro X.
  2. Using macOS Finder go to “~/Library/Caches/AudioUnitCache/” (without the quotes).
  3. Manually delete the com.apple.audiounits.cache file (to force a complete new plug-ins scan).
  4. Re-open Logic Pro X.
  5. Reboot the computer (mandatory).

Cleaning the AU cache and rescanning all plugins might solve this:

Some TBProAudio plugins need a Metal capable GFX card. Please check requirement specification of the specific plugin.

Please read more here: Mac computers that support Metal

TBProAudio takes up to 48 hours to review and process the order. Usually it's faster, sometimes we need this time :-)

TBProAudio will send the license key to the specified email address during the ordering process. Sometimes the email is blocked by your email provider or ends up in the SPAM folder. So, please check carefully your email account for the email with the license key.

No, we don't do that. We believe that we are offering our products at an already fair price.

TBProAudio product activation process is explained here.

TBProAudio products are compatible with Windows and Mac OS platform. Currently there are no plans to port our products to other operating systems.

Simply write us an email with your registration name and email address and ask us to resend.

TBProAudio has a group of long-time beta testers. But if you have the feeling we are missing something, please contact us.

We are very honored about your offer. But we do not make any order development. We are a small development team and have no resources for further software development.

All TBProAudio products are plugins for DAWs like Cubase, Reaper, Protools or Logic. But you can run our plugins in a host like VSTHost.

Windows: Use the uninstaller in the programs menu or open windows program and feature uninstall from there.
You could also delete the folder %localappdata%/<plugin-name>

Mac: Either run the installer again and check the installation log at the end of the installation for the plugin locations, or use third-party utilities.

  • AU:/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components
  • VST:/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST/TBProAudio
  • VST3:/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3/TBProAudio
  • AAX:/Library/Application Support/Avid/Audio/Plug-Ins

You could also delete the folder /Users/<your name>/Library/Application Support/<plugin-name>

There is no selfupdate of the plugin. But there is a check if latest version is used. Then you need to download and install the update/upgrade from our website.

Usually updates with minor version numbers overwrite current plugin versions: e.g. V3.1 overwrites V3.0
Major upgrades do not overwrite, but install new version: e.g. V3 does not overwrite V2. But V3 needs to be activated again.
So V2 coexists with V3.

Open the plugin menu and select "open data folder". Finder/explorer should open. The file "xxx.license" is the license file.
